On June 27, 2017, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson released the seventeenth annual Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report. The U.S. Congress mandates the report to measure annual progress made by countries around the world on combatting trafficking in persons. Guinea-Bissau is one of 187 countries, including the United States, evaluated in the report.
